  Occ at time of Marriage - blacksmith ---------------------------------------------- CRAIGVALE It is with deep regret that we chronicle the death of our village blacksmith in the person of Mr. Thos. Harper. He appears as well as usual on Sundy morning and went to the stable to attend his horse. His daughter, thinking he was a long time out, went in search, and was shocked to find her father lying dead in the stable. Death was due to heart failure. The funeral was held on Wednesday forenoon to Stroud Methodist cemetery, the brethren of the Orange Lodge officiating. The sympathy of the community goes out to the bereaved ones.
