  Popularly known as Yankee Bill because he at one time worked in a lumber camp in Michigan. This name stuck through all his days. Yankee Bill rented the farm from Eliza's father, Little Hughie & had 50 acres Lot 22, Conc 10 Arthur Twp. They lived there and raised their family of 11 children. 1843 - Robert Morrison left Ballymote, County Sligo, Ireland on May 16, 1843 according to rgriffith - Rootchat 6 May 2014 - http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=653751.msg5359955#msg5359955 "I have a connection to the Morrison family. My g g grandmother was Rebecca Jemima "Mima" Morrison b. 1882. I have a photocopy of a bible inscription that Mima had. Mima was the daughter of Robert Morrison who left Ballymote, County Sligo, Ireland on May 16, 1843. His cousin, also named Robert Morrison, gave it to him just prior to his trip to "America" (Canada). Marriage Registration 1881 - MORRISON, Robert Y., 45 years, res. Arthur b. Ireland, Widower s/o Matthew and Mary MORRISON m. Mary RATHWELL, 32 years, res. Arthur, b. Montague, d/o Samuel and Rebecca RATHWELL at Kenilworth (Public Archives of ON 01224581)".
