Notes - Obituary The News-Palladium, Benton Harbor, Michigan - 14 Feb 1929, Thu • Page 6 - HENRY GILMOR, 78, TAKEN BY DEATH Henry Gilmore, 78, died at 1:15 a. m., today at his home, 1302 Wolcott Avenue, after a prolonged illness. He was born in Ireland on February 9, 1851, and was the last survivor of the family of nine children born to the late William Duke Gilmor of Branchfield, Sligo County, Ireland.
Coming to this country in 1913. Mr. Gilmor settled on a farm in Oronoko Township where he resided until moving to St. Joseph, in 1915. He is survived by his wife and two children, William, at home, and Mrs. George Hartman of Buchanan. The funeral will be held at the residence at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon, with the Rev. W. F. Ledford. of the First Methodist church officiating.
