  From Find A Grave: BELOIT - Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in St. Paul's Episcopal church here for Mrs. Alice K. Holmes, 82, Rte. 3, Beloit, who died Friday. The Rev. Oliver Johnson will officiate with burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Mrs. Holmes was born in Richmond township in Walworth County, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Knilans. She came to the Beloit area with her parents in 1894 and in 1906 was married to Frederick E. Holmes, who died in 1935. She was a graduate of Whitewater Teachers College and had been a school teacher before her marriage. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Evening Star chapter 77, Order of Eastern Star. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Lester Hill, Beloit, and three grandchildren. Two brothers, Daniel and William Arthur Knilans preceded her in death.
