      Raymond Gavin, age 77, passed away November 28, 2019. He was born on September 29, 1942, in Detroit, MI to Mervyn W. and Wilma B.(Elliott) Gavin. Raymond married the love of his life, Sally A. Woloszyn, on September 4, 1965, in Dearborn Heights, MI. Ray is a graduate of Lowrey High School in Dearborn, MI and served in the US Air Force as a firefighter from 1961-1965. He enjoyed cooking, boating, flower gardening, and volunteering at church. For 15 years he was a Member of Knights of Columbus, achieving 4th Degree. He was a loyal employee of Hoskins Manufacturing for 29 years. He loved going on road trips with his wife Sally. His Family… Raymond will be missed by his wife Sally; his children, Ann Marie (Thomas) Konyha, Karen (Phil) Greatorex and Michelle (Toby) Riley; grandchildren, Jake Konyha, Kier- stin Konyha, Emily Greatorex, Jessica Greatorex, Mary Catherine Riley; He is preceded in death by his parents , brother, and grandson Joseph Riley. His Farewell… Raymond’s family and friends will gather on Monday, December 2, 2019 from 2:00PM-8:00PM at St. Joseph Catholic Coun- try Church, 6805 Mast Rd. Dexter, MI., with a scripture service at 7PM. Raymond’s Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, December 3, at 11:00AM, with gathering beginning at 10:00AM at St. Joseph Catholic Country Church. Father Brendan Walsh will serve as celebrant. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus #2959 or Hospice of Ann Arbor.
